Betty

Dental Assistant

With her warm smile and gentle manner, Betty helps even the most nervous patient relax. She enjoys getting to know patients on a personal level and developing relationships with them. Betty assists with procedures while making sure our patient is comfortable. She also takes study models and X-rays, sterilizes instruments, and helps in our front office.

Betty and her husband, Bruce, have been married for more than 25 years. They have three children, along with two dogs. Betty enjoys family time, gardening, and jogging.

Julie 

Office Manager

Julie likes making sure everyone feels welcomed and at home during visits. She enjoys answering questions, explaining procedures, and putting a patient at ease. She knows a relaxed patient is going to have the best visit. Working in the front, Julie supports the doctor and patient. She also teaches patients about oral hygiene and post-op care.

Julie’s happily married and has two young sons. The family recently purchased their first home. They enjoy being together, exploring the outdoors, and playing sports.

Dental Hygienist

Friendly and open, Jan makes sure her patients have painless, positive hygiene visits. She spends a lot of time educating patients on their dental needs and helping them understand the connection of their mouth and body. Working together, they figure out the best homecare approach for that person’s needs. Jan genuinely enjoys working with every member of our team—a sentiment that is definitely mutual!

Dental Hygienist

Jean’s soft-spoken, gentle manner helps patients learn they’re in safe, professional hands. She listens to patients’ concerns, coaches them through any anxiety, and encourages them to care for their smile. By concentrating on each patient’s unique dental health, and their life and hobbies, Jean’s able to find the best home oral hygiene processes and tools for that person.

Cyndi

Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Cyndi discovered her love and passion for dentistry by growing as a dental assistant for Ka'amaina Dental Associates back in 2004. Originally from Kailua, Hawaii, Cyndi and her husband moved to Washington in 2009 to start their new life and family! Now, with their family of two girls and little boy, they enjoy mountain biking, movies, and spending quality time together as a family. Cyndi graduated at the top of her class from Bellingham Technical College as an Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary.
